toogoodtowaste

BRIEF
toogoodtowaste, the UK’s leading re-use charity has grown exponentially as a over the years. From their head quarters in Ynyshir, Rhondda Cynon Taf, they have since opened new premises in Treorchy and Aberdare, expanding their operation.

They collect household items such as electrical appliances and furniture which are ‘toogoodtowaste’ from local residents for free. All items are sold at affordable prices in their showrooms, helped by their team of volunteers.

As their operation expanded, they needed a platform which reflected their scale.

SOLUTION
Items from toogoodtowaste sell like hotcakes! As soon as items come through the door, they’re sold there and then. Creating an commerce wouldn’t be viable. That’s why we built a hybrid, where items are uploaded there and then to instagram feed and sold on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis. The website has been designed as their hub, allowing customers to purchase items, book house clearances and collections.

The new branding, although simplistic, needed maintain itself established affordable welcoming feel. This branding carried through to their fleet of vans, which they have become well known for across South Wales.
